Although Sajid Nadiadwala has worked with most of the young and old stars, it’s the first time the producer going to have our chocolate hunk Shahid Kapoor in his team.

Our gossip aunties shared that Sajid has signed on the handsome actor for his forthcoming project which is tentatively titled ‘Heer Ranjha’. The film will be helmed by ‘Kambakth Ishq’ director Sabir Khan.

In fact, Shahid had been working passionately on his father's film ‘Mausam’; so much that he used to reject every offer, lest he gets distracted. But the script of ‘Heer Ranjha’ is something which impressed him very well and he didn’t say ‘no’ for it.

While the leading lady is not yet decided, the film is expected to on floors next year in February.
